Maria tells us about Milan

 12/7 afternoon, Milan. 

La Scala Theatre. A famous opera house since 1778. It is still one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world. 

Maybe one day we will play music in this famous theatre too! 

We met our tour guide today - Maria - who described herself as a"big child" too. In Italy you need a permit to be a tour guide in public. 

Each of us was given a device for the "whisper tour". So we could listen clearly to our tour guide's presentation while walking. 

We had a walk across the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world's oldest shopping malls. It was named after the first king of the Kingdom of Italy.
