Walking tour in Cremona, 17/7 morning

17/7, Our last day in Cremona, the city of violin.

After breakfast and packing up, we had a walk near the Cremona Cathedral.

Then we split into two groups and visited a violin maker's studio each.
Mr Fiora showed us every step of crafting a mable wood into a violin. Our Chloe got a chance to play one of his violins too.
Kenda, a Cremonese, studied 7 years in history of arts. She is the best person to be our walking tour guide and interpreter of the violin making workshop.
Another group visit a female violin maker. There are not many women who became luthiers.

Then we all visited the Museo del Violino (Museum of Violin). Photography is not allowed. But our eyes are already filled with the beautiful arts of violins. We also had a close look at the most import met instruments made by the classical Cremonese masters including Antonio Stradivari and Andrea Amati.
Of course, we did not miss the souvenir shop.
We will have lunch near the Cathedral and say Arrivederci (goodbye) to Cremona.
